Pearl's Winnie the Pooh

This cake is a bit of a hybrid from a couple of other cakes I have made. I do like how it turned out, especially the rainbow balls around the cakes. The customer didn't want a cake covered in fondant so the cakes are just butter cream with fondant decorations.

Hunter's Winnie the Pooh

Gorgeous! This cake was iced in buttercream with fondant used only for the decorations. With the warm weather we have been having it did make things a bit more difficult, but I think the end result was lovely. I especially like the little bees on curled wire.

Gianni's Winnie the Pooh

A different version of the Winnie the Pooh theme. I loved it! The characters are so cute.

Sebastian's Winnie the Pooh's Picnic

So cute! I have done this one before using stronger colours, but this one was done in gentle blues and greens. I made the bottom tier in a sky blue with clouds and dark blue birds on it. The top tier was a very light green with a red marbled cloth running across it. I was very pleased with the result and it looked just right for a one-year-old's birthday.

Winnie the Pooh - $130

A really cute cake. This was for a little one-year-old who loves Winnie the Pooh and friends. I did the bottom tier like the 100-acre wood. It was completely covered in trees and had little hedgehogs, ladybirds and butterflies on it. The second tier was just a beautiful blue and then a picnic scene. I had made the usual four characters but also had a go at making Kanga and Roo and Rabbit. I was especially pleased with the honey pot with honey dribbling out of it. Another touch I liked was the bees on wire around the cake. A very satisfying cake to make and I hope to make another one day.
