Lorna's 70th

Lorna's hobbies are gardening and painting.

Paulette's Christmas

Another version of the Elf Christmas cake. I think I prefer this one as it's less cluttered.

Olive's Jungle

A fitting cake for a little girl who was having her party at the zoo.

Russell's Rocking Dragons

This year's "Reading For Life" cake for Hutt Central School.

Joshua's Handy Manny Toolbox

This cake was added to a larger square cake which had been made to look like a wooden floor.

Tracy's Flower Abstract

A beautiful birthday cake for a VERY regular customer. I think this is her 10th or 11th cake for this year and there is still another one to come before the new year.

Jack's 3D Thomas

I get more and more pleased with the results of this cake everytime I make one.

Armani's Dora Backpack

Still having trouble getting Dora right - she looks a bit like Angelina Jolie in this cake. Boots is excellent though.

Kustom's Jungle Cake

Loved the cheeky monkey border around the bottom cake.

Logan's Shawn & Bitzer

New characters on me, but they turned out quite recognisable.

Isabel's Jungle

Cute. Loved the bright colours. Using a new icing which not only tastes better, but comes in some lovely, vibrant colours.

Micaela's Fairy Toadstool

Always a favourite and so much fun to make.

Bella's Fairy, Flowers and Mermaid

A variation on the Fairy, Flower and Butterfly cake.

Ashlee Rose's 21st

The colours aren't true in this photo. The cake was a rich "Cadbury" purple. Loved the balls on spiraled wire.

Gianni's Winnie the Pooh

A different version of the Winnie the Pooh theme. I loved it! The characters are so cute.

Eugenia's Castle

If I had to do this one again, I would make the princesses dress brighter, so she would stand out more.

Jessica's Ariel Mermaid

I had a lot of fun experimenting on making different sorts of coral. The 'sand' around the base is toasted coconut.

Priya's Baby Carriage

Such a cute cake for a baby shower.

Jo's Chocolate Box

Everything is edible except the lid, even the tissue and the chocolates inside the box.

Sophia's Bunny Toadstool

A different take on the Fairy Toadstool. I had so much fun making this one, especially the little gardens.

Black & White Topsy Turvey

Stunning. Everything is edible (except the candles), even the dancers on the bottom which were made out of royal icing.

Small Ruby (40th) Anniversary

The challenge for this cake was fitting all the wording on as the cake was only a small 15cms and the wording was quite extensive. We got there in the end.

Small Present Cake

I never get tired of making these present cakes.

Christopher's Over The Hill

Only to my son-in-law would I make a joke of 40 being 'over the hill'.

Lara's Fairy House

My worst nightmare cake. It fell in half during delivery and all I could do was show pictures of how it looked at it's best. We managed to tart it up, but it didn't look the same. Money was refunded and Lara still thought it was the most beautiful cake she had ever seen.

Jayden's Car Mountain

A lovely little boy's cake.

Molly's Cupcake

Loved the finished product of this one. So girly and yet so colourful too.

Paulette's Shoebox

The husband was tossing up as to whether to make the cake in the shape of a shoe box with shoes or a floor steamer shape - I think he made a wise choice.

Emma's Fairy Garden

This whole cake was sprayed with edible pearl spray and it looked really nice - it shone.

Jodi's Horse

A cake to incorporate Jodi's love of horses and her participation in a band.

Chad's Rugby Player

The player turned out a bit square, but the can of Tui Lager turned out really well - Yeah Right!

Nahliah's Princess Dora

Next time I won't have a brown background as her hair doesn't stand out enough.

Mas's Hudson Hornet

Hudson Hornet from Toy Story.

Jacqui's Mermaid

Using my people mold again, which has come in very handy for my modelling.

Makere's Stars

I like this new way of putting the stars on this style of cake. It uses more wires but looks neater.

Elle's Nemo

So happy with how he turned out - almost like the real thing.

Isabella's Cat in Garden

The second time I have had to do a version of this one. Love putting all the little details on it.

Joyce Boys Moon Base

This cake was for two boys, hence the two asteroids with candles.

Kingston's Toy Story

Another version of a Toy Story cake.

Fay's Naki

Top: The cake. Bottom: The picture they wanted copied onto the cake. Not too shabby - a fair likeness I think.

Grahame's Holden Boy

Fairly self-explanatory - the cake is a gift from a Holden owner to a Ford owner.

Archer

A combination of royal icing floodwork and fondant.

Jacob's Farm

All I can say is - CUTE!

Thea's Rapunzel Tower

The picture for this was given to me by the parents and I had a lot of fun making it. I love the twirly silver thingies.
